Best yogurt of Bangladesh is produced in Bogura. Yogurt production is a time consuming process. The first step of yogurt production is collecting the best quality milk. The milk is filtered and then it is boiled in high temperature. Sugar is added in the boiling milk in order to produce sweetened yogurt. After adding sugar, the mixture is poured into special plates called ‘hari’ which is made of mud. The plates of yogurt are covered and kept to get thickened for hours. Finally, the yogurt is packed and supplied to shops.
